Safety
Safety you can check.
Safety isn't a badge on a page. It's who we let drive, what you see before you get in, and who answers when something goes wrong.
Launching first in San Diego. A few pieces arrive with the app at launch — each one is marked below.
Who drives
Nobody drives unchecked.
Every driver clears the same checks in the same order before their first trip. There is no fast lane and no exception list.
-
Identity, verified by Stripe
Every driver verifies through Stripe Identity before their first trip: a government ID plus a live selfie matched against it. The same Stripe that vetted Arryvz as a business.
-
Licence, registration, insurance
A person reviews every document beside its scan: the expiry on the licence, the plate and VIN on the registration, the VINs the policy actually covers.
-
Expired paperwork means no driving
Every document carries its expiry. When it passes with no approved replacement, driving switches off automatically — no grace period, no override button.
-
Warnings well before that
Notices go out 45, 30, and 15 days before every expiry. The deadline is the law's; the reminders are on us.
-
A photo, matched to the licence
Every driver submits a profile photo, and the reviewer confirms it's the face on the licence before anything is approved.
-
Older cars get inspected
Past five years old, a vehicle needs an inspection on file, renewed yearly. Past ten, that inspection needs a second approval before it counts.
Approved documents are locked and kept — a renewal adds the next version, so nothing is quietly edited after the fact. Riders aren't identity-verified: they pay with a card on file, and every trip is on record.
Every trip
What you see, every trip.
Most of what makes a trip feel safe happens before the car arrives. Here's what's on your screen, and what's still on the way.
-
The price is locked before you tap
You see the full fare before you request, and that's what you pay. Add a stop or change the destination and the new price is shown before you confirm.
-
Know the car before it stops
Your driver's name, their car, and the plate are on your screen before pickup. Check the plate first, then get in.
-
Live tracking on real roads
You watch the car come to you along the road it's actually driving — the same route your driver is following, not a straight line.
-
Pickup inside a live service area
We check your pickup against the real coverage map before you request, and say so plainly when you're outside it.
-
Your driver's photo on the card
The photo every driver submits, checked against their licence, is on the card you see before pickup — beside their name, car, and plate.
-
A push the moment your driver arrives
When the car reaches your pickup, your phone says so in those words. You don't have to keep watching the map to know they're outside.
-
Drop-off inside a verified area Arriving with launch
A trip will only complete near the real drop-off, or anywhere inside a big venue's own boundary, so a stadium counts as one place.
Arriving with launch means built into the launch plan and not in the app you can open today. We'd rather mark it than imply it.
Money
No cash, no card numbers.
The safest money on a trip is money nobody carries and nobody stores. Payments run end to end through Stripe.
-
Stripe holds the card, not us
Your card number never touches an Arryvz server. We couldn't show it to anyone, because we don't have it.
-
Nothing changes hands at the curb
Every fare and every tip is paid in the app. Nobody on either side of the trip is carrying cash.
-
Both sides see the same numbers
You see the fare and the fees. The moment your driver accepts, they see the same fare, Arryvz's 25%, and their 75%.
-
Charged when the trip is real
The card is authorized when a driver accepts and settled when you arrive. Refunds go back the same way, itemized.
Tips are on top of the fare: 100% to the driver, minus card processing fees.
Support
There's a number to call.
Support that only exists as a form isn't support. The line is toll-free, it's live now, and a message left on it reaches the team.
-
(855) 629-9229
Our toll-free line: press 1 for app and website help, 2 for billing, 3 for driver support, 4 to dial an extension, 0 for an operator.
Call the line -
Voicemail that reaches someone
After hours or if nobody picks up, leave a message. It's transcribed and emailed to the team with the call attached.
-
hello@arryvz.com
Email works for anything: a trip that went wrong, a billing question, a privacy request, or something before you sign up.

Help in the app Arriving with launch
Help in the app brings you here, to this number and this address. Reaching support from inside a live trip arrives with launch.
Callers are masked to the last four digits in our own call log, and reading the full number is an audited action.
For drivers
Safety runs both ways.
Rules that protect riders shouldn't be a trapdoor for drivers. Here's what the same system looks like from your seat.
-
No anonymous punishment
If a decision affects your account, you get the reason in words from a person. No silent deactivations.
-
A rejected document isn't the end
Needs-more-information comes with the reviewer's message. You add a corrected version; the old one stays as history, and driving resumes when it's approved.
-
Strikes cost access, never money
Release a claimed job late too often and your board opt-ins pause for a set number of days. No fine, nothing taken out of your earnings.
-
A support move is never a strike
If Arryvz moves a ride off you, the app says so in those words, and nothing lands on your record.
-
A rider's block stays private
A rider can ask not to be matched with you again. You're never told, never accused, and it costs you nothing else.
-
Your paperwork, your history
Approved documents are locked and can't be edited behind your back. Every renewal is a new version in your own chain.
Questions
Before you ride or drive.
How is a driver checked before their first trip?
Identity through Stripe Identity — government ID plus a live selfie match — then a person reviews the licence, registration, insurance, vehicle details, and profile photo.
What happens when a driver's insurance expires?
Driving switches off at the expiry, automatically. There's no grace period and no override; an approved replacement turns it back on.
What do riders and drivers see about each other?
First names only, both directions. Before pickup you also see your driver's car and plate. A driver sees your pickup address only on the ride they're driving you on — never in their history afterward.
Is my card safe?
Arryvz never sees your card number. Stripe handles payments end to end, and your details live with them.
Something went wrong on a trip. Who do I talk to?
Call (855) 629-9229 or email hello@arryvz.com. Cancellations, refunds, and account decisions are made by a person and recorded.
ARRYVZ. The journey there!
Ready when you are.
Rides first, deliveries next, moving later — one app, one fair set of rules. On commercial trips, drivers keep 75% of every fare.
