How communities work
From the first invite to arrival.
A community brings membership, scheduled rides, and arrival details together. Here's how owners, members, and drivers make it work.
Set up your community
Give your group a place to start.
-
Create and choose a plan
Name your community, review the available plans and trial terms, and add the owner's payment method.
-
Set your community's rates
Keep fares at $0 or configure the start fare, per-mile rate, minimum fare, and applicable fees.
-
Invite your members
Share a link or QR code. Review applications, or send a direct moderator email invitation.
-
Welcome your drivers
Members apply to drive. Arryvz reviews their required documents; moderators see clearance status, not private documents.
Owners manage the subscription, payment method, ownership transfer, and closure. Moderators manage members, rates, and contribution settings.
Follow your invitation
Your invitation brings you here.
Scan your community's QR code or open its link. You can request the app download link by email or text. After you register and verify the matching contact information, Arryvz can connect you with that invitation.
Public and member-shared invitations require moderator approval. A direct moderator email invitation can admit its verified recipient without another approval step.
A requested download text helps you get the app. It does not subscribe you to marketing texts.
Two booking paths
Ask for a ride. Or a seat.
Post a need
Enter the passenger, pickup, destination, and requested time more than one hour ahead. Review the price and instructions, then wait for an approved community driver to accept.
Request a seat
Choose a driver's scheduled trip, enter your pickup details, and request an available seat. The driver confirms the pickup location and time before your booking is ready.
- Requested
- Driver confirmed
- Picked up
- Dropped off
Booking for someone else? You remain responsible for the fare and any applicable cancellation or no-show fee.
Return plans
One-way or there and back.
Drivers explicitly choose whether they offer a return. You can request either leg or both. A return begins at the outbound destination and can finish at your passenger's own drop-off location.
- Outbound School pickup Practice
- Return Practice Home
Return pickup time confirmed by driver. Example trip—not a live booking.
Driving within a community
Choose the rides you can give.
Join the community and apply to drive. Your document profile can be reused across communities, with separate clearance where required. If you're commercially approved, current eligibility can carry into communities you join.
Accept a posted need or offer seats on your own trip. Confirm each booking's pickup arrangements, then follow the passenger list through pickup and drop-off.
Your fare. A clear processing deduction.
Community earnings show the gross fare, Stripe processing deduction, Arryvz share of $0, and your net. Arryvz handles payment collection; drivers do not collect unpaid fares from members.
You do not need Stripe Connect to be cleared to drive. Complete payout setup when you're ready to cash out eligible earnings.
Community clearance does not grant commercial driving access. You can apply separately for commercial driving using your existing profile.
Coordinate the handoff
Agree on what arrival means.
Specify the meeting spot and any drop-off instructions. If someone must meet the passenger, select the handoff requirement and provide that person's details.
The driver completes the agreed arrangement and records drop-off. The booking member receives an update, and the chosen notification number receives a basic completion text. That number does not automatically receive access to photos or tracking.
If the passenger does not show up, the booking member and notification contact are told that pickup did not happen.
Make the next trip a plan.
