Community guidelines

Clear expectations. Considerate rides.

A community works best when everyone knows the plan. These guidelines explain membership, booking responsibilities, pickup, and arrival.

Community guidelines

Membership and driving

Join through your community's invitation process. Public and member-shared invitations require moderator approval. Driver clearance is separate from membership and is reviewed by Arryvz. Moderators do not receive private driver documents.

The person booking is responsible

Book for yourself or someone else, and provide accurate arrangements. As the booking member, you authorize payment and remain responsible for the fare and applicable cancellation or no-show fees. A passenger or notification contact does not take over that responsibility.

Allow time to arrange the ride

Post scheduled requests more than one hour ahead. A request or seat booking remains pending until the driver confirms it. Unconfirmed bookings receive a warning 30 minutes before pickup and cancel at no charge 15 minutes before pickup.

You may then try a commercial NOW ride. Availability is not guaranteed, and commercial prices and payment requirements apply.

Agree on the meeting point

Be at the confirmed pickup location and ready at the agreed time. If arrangements change, coordinate with the driver. Changes that affect the pickup or fare require renewed confirmation.

Before recording a no-show, the driver must arrive at the agreed location, wait five minutes after the scheduled pickup or their arrival—whichever is later—and attempt to contact the booking member. The normal 250-foot arrival check uses the same qualifying venue exceptions as commercial Arryvz, including applicable airport and stadium pickup arrangements.

The booking member and notification contact are told if the passenger was not picked up. A configured no-show fee may apply.

Passenger restraint requirements

Passengers must be able to travel safely and legally using the vehicle's standard seat belt, without a child safety seat, booster seat, or supplemental passenger-restraint equipment.

Drivers are never required to supply a child safety seat, booster seat, or any supplemental passenger-restraint equipment.

When booking for a child, confirm that the child meets the applicable requirements. Age or weight alone does not establish eligibility for every location or vehicle.

Handoff and drop-off

Add a clear drop-off location and instructions. If a designated person must meet the passenger, select that requirement and provide their name, contact details, and meeting point.

The driver completes the required handoff before confirming drop-off. If the receiving person is absent, the driver stays with the child and contacts the booking member to resolve the arrangement.

A round-trip driver staying at the venue follows the agreed instructions; that arrangement does not override a required handoff.

Arrival records and privacy

Drivers record drop-off with a photo, time, and available location information. This is a driver-confirmed record, not independent verification of the passenger's safety.

Group photos involving children require the relevant parents’ consent; an individual-photo option is available. Routine drop-off photos are deleted 30 days after drop-off. Incident-related photos may be preserved separately with restricted access while the incident is resolved.

An alternate notification number receives a basic update. It does not automatically receive access to photos or live tracking.

Know the accepted terms

Your community sets fares and any cancellation or no-show fees, all initially $0. Review the terms before confirmation. A configured late-cancellation fee applies only to a booking-member cancellation of a confirmed booking within 24 hours of pickup.

Drivers receive applicable fares and fees after Stripe processing deductions. Arryvz takes no community per-ride share.

Keep communication respectful

Communicate changes promptly and respect the arrangements you confirmed. Use Arryvz support for payment issues or concerns that cannot be resolved through ordinary coordination. Drivers do not collect unpaid fares directly from members.

These guidelines are a practical guide, not the governing agreement. The Terms and Privacy Policy govern your use of Arryvz, and the payment terms you accept are shown in full before any charge.
