Your Privacy Choices

1. The short version

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. arryvz.com sets no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking cookies, and carries no ad tech. The contact form uses reCAPTCHA, which sets a Google cookie to tell a person from a bot — a security cookie, not a tracking one. This page tells you what we do collect and how to control it.

2. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined by California law, so there's nothing to opt out of today. If that ever changes, this page will carry a working opt-out first, and we'll say so before it takes effect.

• Control: Submit a privacy request — the channel stays open even while the answer is "we don't sell."
• Global Privacy Control: we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends it, we treat it as an opt-out request.

3. Your California rights

If you live in California, you have these rights:

• Right to know — the categories and specific pieces of personal information we've collected, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to.
• Right to delete — ask us to delete the personal information we collected from you.
• Right to correct — ask us to fix personal information that's inaccurate.
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we don't sell or share, but the request channel stays open.
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we don't collect sensitive personal information on this site.
• Right to non-discrimination — using any of these rights never changes the service or price you get.
• Authorized agents — someone may submit a request for you with written permission.

4. How to make a request

Email privacy@arryvz.com with the request and the email address you gave us. That address needs no form, no JavaScript and no captcha, which is why it is first; the contact form reaches us too.

• We'll confirm within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days, with one 45-day extension if we need it and tell you why.
• We verify by emailing the address on file. We ask for nothing more than we need.

5. Notice at Collection

This is what arryvz.com collects, why, and for how long — at the point we collect it.

• Categories of personal information we collect on arryvz.com — Identifiers: email address. Geolocation (coarse, self-reported): the city you type in; we do not collect device location on this site. Internet or network activity: the page you signed up from (source), plus standard web-server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) kept for security. Commercial information: the role you pick (rider, driver, or both) and, for drivers, the kind of work you're interested in.
• We do not collect: sensitive personal information, biometric data, precise geolocation, payment information, government IDs, or education/employment records on this site.
• Also collected by the contact form — Identifiers: your name, your email address, and your phone number if you choose to give one. Internet or network activity: the message you write, plus the IP address, browser and referring page of the submission, and the reCAPTCHA score it was given.
• Sources — you, directly, through the waitlist form and the contact form; and your browser, through server logs.
• Purposes — to tell you when Arryvz opens in your city, to decide which cities we open next, to prevent spam and abuse, and to answer you when you write to us. A message sent through the contact form is used to answer it, and for nothing else.
• Sale or sharing — we do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Disclosure to service providers — our email, hosting, and database providers, under contract and only to run the waitlist and answer messages sent through the contact form; and Google, whose reCAPTCHA service checks contact-form submissions for spam and receives the submission's IP address, browser information and interaction signals for that purpose alone.
• Cookies — we set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which sets a Google cookie and reads browser and interaction signals to keep spam out; it runs on that page only, and it is a security measure, not advertising. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to it.
• Retention — we keep waitlist entries until we launch in your city and you've had the chance to sign up, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first. We keep a message sent through the contact form as long as the matter it is about is open, or until you ask us to delete it. Server logs are kept for a short security window.

6. Metrics disclosure

If we ever receive enough requests to trigger California's reporting threshold, we'll publish the annual request metrics here.

7. Minors

arryvz.com is not directed to anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information. We don't sell or share the personal information of minors.

8. The app

The Arryvz app (iOS and Android) collects trip, payment, and location data and will carry its own California disclosures.
